BIOGRAPHY OF DR. ASHA-ROSE MTENGETI MIGIRO Ms. Asha-Rose Mtengeti Migiro currently serves as the High Commissioner of the United Republic of Tanzania to the United Kingdom. She was appointed to this position by H.E. Dr. John Pombe Joseph Magufuli, President of the United Republic of Tanzania on 15th February, 2016. Before this appointment, Ms. Migiro pursued a career in academia, political and government spheres. Education: Ms. Migiro obtained primary and secondary education in various schools in Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro and Tanga regions in Tanzania. She has a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honors - 1980) and Master of Laws degree from the University of Dar es Salaam (1984), and a Doctorate in Laws from the University of Konstanz in Germany (1992).
