• A valid national passport with the validity of six months and above and must have at least two (2) blank pages;
  • For applicants of multiple entry visa, the validity of the passport must be not less than 1 (one) year from the date of entry to Tanzania;
  • A duly completed and signed visa application form (click here to download);
  • Two (2) passport size photos taken on a white background within the last six months. (Scanned photo printed on ordinary paper is not accepted);
  • Introductory letter from their organisation or offices for applicants who intend to travel to the URT for specific reasons other than tourism. These include but not limited to volunteers those attending meetings and conferences, studies, diplomats, officials and any other business not mentioned here;
  • A Photocopy of Residence Permit or Visa for non-British and EU countries passport holders;
  • A written consent from either parent/legal guardian for applicants under 16 years travelling on their own;
  • Proof of visa fee payment to be enclosed with the applicant (original receipts).
